Welcome Back to School Second Graders
Here is a simple suggested list of supplies
for second grade. The quantities and sizes may vary from school to
school so I have offered you a number of options.
A typical first grade list is comprised of the following:
24 or more yellow No 2 pencils (sharpened), 8 small glue sticks, 1 pair of metal sisors, 1 box of reg. size crayons, 1 box of reg. size color pencils, 2 pocket folders, 1 pencil box (approx. size of cigar box), and 1 spiral note book.
Some additional items might include a back pack with one zipper and one compartment that the children can open themselves. Your child's name should be clearly written on it using permanent marker. One box of kleenex (200 count), some teachers ask students to bring 1 container of antibacterial soap, 1 container of antibacterial cleaner, and 1 box freezer ziploc baggies. You can choose from the items we have provided below as to the specifications and quantities your school requires.
