Back to School First Graders
Here is a simple suggested list of supplies
for first grade. The quantities and sizes may vary from school to
school so I have offered you a number of options.
A typical first grade list is comprised of the following:
24 or more yellow No 2 pencils (sharpened), two 4 oz bottles of Elmer's glue, 12 small glue sticks, 1 package of pencil top erasers, 1 pair of sharp pointed 5" long sisors, 1 boxes of 16 reg. size crayons, 1 set of tall colored pencils(sharpened), 1 pocket folder with 3 holes, 1 box washable colored markers, 1 pencil box (approx. size of cigar box), 4 regular pocket folders, and 1 spiral note book.
Some additional items might include a back pack with one zipper and one compartment that the children can open themselves. Your child's name should be clearly written on it using permanent marker. One box of kleenex (200 count), some teachers ask students to bring 1 container of Clorox wipes and 1 container of hand sanitizer. You can choose from the items we have provided below as to the specifications and quantities your school requires.
