Hello, my name is Donna Goodman and I hold a Masters Degree in Special Education with almost two decades of teaching experience in various fields of Special Education.  During the time that I have taught in the public school system I have discovered that children learn the maximum amount that they are capable of when they are captivated by teaching aids that intrigue, interest, and fascinate them.  It is well established that learning in general is most effective when more of the five senses we posses are used in the learning process.  It is also well established that we learn more and our comprehension is greatest when we are interested in what is being taught.  I have used my education and experience over the years to find out the teaching methods and aids that work the best, and what either doesn't work at all, or at best with minimal results.  I am a mother of three children who are grown up, and have families of their own.  I have seen the educational process from both sides of mother/teacher spectrum.  I know what it is like to place ones most precious little loved ones, your own children,  in someone else’s care to educate them, sit back, cross your fingers, and pray for the best.  I have also been on the other end of the same process as a Special Education Teacher who was charged with the greatest of responsibilities in teaching those little ones who had great problems with learning.  If ever there were children who needed very precise innovative teaching methods, certainly these precious little ones are at the top of the list.  I taught these little ones day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year with all I had.  The flip side of the coin was that they taught me more than I ever expected to learn about the teaching and learning process.  They taught me where the rubber meets the road, and that is this.  Make it fun, make it interesting, fill it with hands on tactile experiences that they can get involved with, and they will eat it up like there is no end.  Many of my fellow teachers have been amazed at what I have been able to do with Special Ed students in a short amount of time.  One of their greatest compliments to me has been this, “Donna, you are the only one we know that could teach a rock how to read”.  Well I don’t quite think that I could teach a rock how to read, but I can sure hold my own when it comes to teaching children how to read and write.  It is with great expectations, and confidence that I will bring to you the greatest teaching tools I can find in the world today, as well as, many that I have designed, built, and used in the classroom.  Many of these we have designed, and made right here at home.  I have used them on my students at school as well as my grandchildren at home, and all with the same results.  They just loved them, and could not get enough.  Other teaching aids you will find on this site are the absolute best that I can find anywhere.  In closing I pray that you will find the tools right here that you need to watch your children learn in an exceptional way that is not only exciting for them, but very rewarding for you as well.  I will be starting a teaching aid forum on this site as well as giving you the ability to counsel with me on specific issues that you are having a problem with, or for that matter just need confirmation that you are headed in the right direction.  I will be adding many teaching methods, and ways to increase your child’s learning ability with the products we will be making and selling on this web site.  Just remember that all problems create opportunities, and when you have fully grasped this concept.  You will understand that there is no problem you won't face with the excitement and with the anticipation of overcoming.   That is what we are all about here, and we are good at it.  We create innovative and exciting ways to teach and help children learn.  I will simply say in closing for now, get excited about teaching your own children.  Get excited about being a very important part of their learning experience, and just watch how excited about learning they become.  They are just yearning to learn, all they need are the special tools, methods, and the fun in learning that comes with them.  I am very excited about bringing all my talent and ability to the surface for them, and you.
